Prospecting and CRM: organizing your view
A dual-screen setup can keep a CRM and a document visible at the same time. Its usefulness, however, depends on how you prospect and the space available.
A method to test with your current setup
-
Outline a prospecting sequence
Identify the information you need to consult during the call and what can wait. Prepare the file before starting the sequence.
-
Test the layout on your current screen
Place the contact file and your notes side by side when the display allows it. Adjust the zoom to maintain comfortable readability.
-
Prepare the information to share
Separate the documents shown to the client from internal notes. Check the sharing settings before an online demonstration.
-
Compare a complementary display
Check the video connections, supported configuration, and dimensions. An additional screen does not guarantee a sales pace or business results.
Decide on the next steps
Try one change at a time and observe the result over several sessions. If equipment is still missing, define its role, then compare its dimensions and compatibility with your setup before purchasing.
