30 days to change your mind | 2 years of statutory conformity warranty | Last updated: 5 November 2026
1. Purpose and scope
These terms of sale (the “Terms”) govern the contractual relationship between Bureau Hybride (the “Seller”) and any individual or legal entity making a purchase through www.bureauhybride.com (the “Site”), referred to as the “Customer”.
Any order placed on the Site constitutes full acceptance of these Terms, to the exclusion of any other document. The Customer acknowledges having read them before confirming the order.
2. Seller identity
Bureau Hybride — the French specialist in hybrid work performance.
- Contact: contact@bureauhybride.com
- Website: www.bureauhybride.com
3. Products
The Site sells products for setting up and improving the ergonomics of a hybrid workstation: furniture, desk accessories and comfort equipment. Each product page describes its essential characteristics, including dimensions, materials, composition and use.
Product photographs and illustrations are not contractually binding. They are provided for information and may differ slightly from the delivered product.
The Seller reserves the right to change its catalogue at any time, particularly if a product is out of stock or discontinued by its supplier.
4. Prices
Product prices are stated in euros, including all taxes, excluding delivery charges, which are specified before final order confirmation.
The Seller reserves the right to change prices at any time. Products are charged at the prices in force when the Customer confirms the order, regardless of subsequent price changes.
If an obvious pricing error occurs, due to a technical or data entry error, the Seller reserves the right to cancel the affected order after informing the Customer, who will receive a full refund.
5. Orders
To place an order, the Customer selects products, adds them to the basket and follows the checkout process through confirmation, which includes:
- checking and, where necessary, correcting the order details: products, quantities and address;
- expressly accepting these Terms;
- confirming payment.
The order becomes final only after payment confirmation. An order summary is emailed to the Customer at the address provided as soon as possible.
The Seller reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order from a Customer with an outstanding payment dispute concerning a previous order, or where fraud is suspected.
6. Payment
Orders are paid online when placed, by bank card or another payment method offered on the Site. Transactions are secured by the payment service provider.
The Seller does not retain the Customer’s banking data, which is processed directly by the payment service provider.
7. Delivery
Products are delivered to the address provided by the Customer, in the countries and territories offered at checkout, subject to the product being eligible for shipment to that address. Delivery times vary by product and destination. The applicable delivery date or period is communicated to the Customer before final order confirmation.
If the stated delivery period is significantly exceeded, the Customer may request cancellation in accordance with the French Consumer Code and will then receive a refund of all amounts paid.
The Customer must check the parcel upon receipt and, if there is an apparent problem, such as a damaged parcel or missing product, record the necessary reservations with the carrier and contact the Seller promptly.
8. Right of withdrawal
Under Article L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a statutory period of 14 days to exercise the right of withdrawal without giving a reason. Bureau Hybride extends this period to 30 days from receipt of the order.
To exercise this right, the Customer informs the Seller by email at contact@bureauhybride.com, giving the order number and the item concerned.
In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the French Consumer Code, exclusions include products made to the Customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, and products unsealed after delivery that cannot be returned for hygiene or health protection reasons.
9. Returns and refunds
9.1 Return conditions
To be accepted, the item must be unused, in its original condition and complete packaging, including accessories, instructions and cables, with proof of purchase or the order number.
9.2 Procedure
- The Customer emails support at contact@bureauhybride.com, giving the order number and item concerned.
- The Seller provides return instructions and a prepaid return label within 24 to 48 business hours.
- The Customer carefully packages the item and hands it to the specified carrier.
9.3 Return charges
Returns are free: Bureau Hybride covers all return shipping costs, including when the Customer simply changes their mind.
9.4 Refunds
Once the item has been received and inspected, the Seller sends an email confirming receipt. The refund, including the original standard delivery charges, is issued to the original payment method within a maximum of 5 business days from that confirmation. Depending on the bank, it may take up to 10 additional days to appear on the account statement. Any express delivery charges are not refunded.
9.5 Damaged or non-conforming items
If the parcel or item arrives damaged or does not conform to the order, the Customer contacts the Seller within 48 hours with photographs at contact@bureauhybride.com. An immediate exchange or refund is arranged at the Seller’s expense.
10. Statutory warranties
Independently of the right of withdrawal, every product purchased on the Site benefits from:
- the statutory conformity warranty under Articles L. 217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, for 2 years from delivery;
- the statutory warranty against hidden defects under Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
Under these warranties, the Customer may choose between repair and replacement and bears no associated costs.
11. Liability
The Seller cannot be held liable for non-performance or improper performance of the contract due to force majeure, an unforeseeable and unavoidable act of a third party, or fault on the part of the Customer.
The Seller cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper product use that does not comply with the instructions or recommended uses.
12. Personal data
Personal data collected when ordering is necessary to process and manage the order, including invoicing, delivery and after-sales service. It is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
The Customer has rights of access, rectification, erasure and data portability, as well as a right to object, which may be exercised at any time by contacting contact@bureauhybride.com. For further details, the Customer is invited to consult the Site’s Privacy Policy.
13. Intellectual property
All elements of the Site, including text, images, logos, structure and graphic design, are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of Bureau Hybride. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, without prior authorisation is prohibited.
14. Mediation and disputes
In the event of a dispute, the Customer is invited to contact customer service first at contact@bureauhybride.com to seek an amicable solution.
If no amicable agreement is reached, a consumer Customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge, in accordance with Articles L. 616-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.
The list of consumer alternative dispute resolution bodies in the European Union, Norway and Iceland is available in the European Commission’s official directory.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute and if no amicable or mediated resolution is reached, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the territorial jurisdiction rules applicable to consumer disputes.
